How it works

How it works: You get any clothes that need appliques and/or patches to me (I also do small alterations for tears on seams, etc). I'll take a look and let you know if they are good candidates for my service and get them fixed up! Prices are based on number of fabrics, etc. If you know you want a certain type of applique on my menu, I'll do that shape and choose the perfect fabric/s for you. As the fabrics are repurposed and/or vintage, each applique is unique and I can't guarantee I'll have any specific kind of fabric. If you have a color preference, let me know, but other than that, you have to trust me! See the posts below for a la carte pricing and samples/menu prices. If you have awesome clothes that need a little help that your children have outgrown, I may exchange them for credit on appliques. And I always take custom work! If you have any questions, ask! Extra, extra!

NEW FABRICS!
I've got hundreds of new fabrics in! They are everything from vintage reproduction to mod to character prints (bears who care or spidey prints anyone?) I am unreasonably excited!!

New garments?
If you'd like an applique added to a new garment, let me know! I do have some plain white onesies in stock, but I can also add appliques to garments you provide. Makes a great gift!
Stains 101:
There are a number of resources that give different methods for getting out all kinds of stains. The one that I find the most helpful when all seems lost is soaking the garment in a bucket of powder oxyclean and water. Check on it every day or so to see if the stain is out. This has removed everything from marker to mold! Seriously. Give it a try next time :) You might not need me after all!

Faux Heart Pocket - $6

This is a two layer heart applique with a denim background, designer fabric interior and a decorative navy topsitch. These are great for "sit" stains or in the case of this beautiful dress, a nasty dryer burn. Beautiful dress saved!
